1) What are cookies?
Cookies are small files saved on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (pixels, SDKs, local storage) may also be used. In this policy, we refer to them collectively as “cookies.”
2) Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies to:
Ensure the website functions correctly (security, load balancing, session management).
Remember your preferences (language, cookie choices).
Analyze website usage (analytics).
Measure campaigns and show relevant content/ads (only if you allow it, where applicable).
3) Types of cookies we use
A. Technical or necessary cookies (always active)
Essential for the operation of the website.
B. Preference cookies
They remember choices such as language or region.
C. Analytics or performance cookies
They help us understand how the website is used so we can improve it. In the EU/EEA, these are installed upon consent when they are non-essential.
D. Advertising/marketing cookies
Used to measure campaigns and, if activated, personalize advertising. In the EU/EEA, they are only installed after consent.
E. Third-party cookies for embedded content
For example, integrated videos or maps. These may involve tracking by the provider, depending on their configuration.
4) Legal basis (EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland visitors)
Necessary cookies: legitimate interest in providing the service and maintaining security.
All other cookies: consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings. In the EU, non-essential cookies must not be installed before valid consent is obtained.
In Spain, the AEPD guide and its practical application require a clear mechanism, with an option to reject in the first layer of the banner and consent renewal practices (usually up to 24 months).
5) How to change or withdraw your consent
You can manage cookies in two ways:
Cookie Banner/Settings on the website.
Browser: you can block or delete cookies. If you block necessary cookies, some functions may not work.
6) List of cookies
Below is the list of cookies. If we use a Consent Management Platform (CMP), this table may be automatically updated based on the cookies detected.
| Name | Source | Cookie Function |
| _utma | Google Analytics | Enables the unique visit control function. The first time a user enters the website via a browser, this cookie will be installed. When the user returns using the same browser, the cookie will recognize them as the same user. Only if the user changes browsers will Google Analytics consider them a different user. |
| _utmb / _utmc | Google Analytics | Enable the session time calculation function. The first (_utmb) records the time of entry, and the second (_utmc) checks if the session should remain open or a new one should be created. The _utmb cookie expires 30 minutes after the last page view, while _utmc is a session variable that is automatically deleted when changing websites or closing the browser. |
| _utmz | Google Analytics | Enables the function of recording the user’s origin. Data recorded includes whether the user arrived via direct traffic, from another website, from an advertising campaign, or from a search engine (indicating the keyword used and the source). |
| PHPSESSID | First-party | Enables the language control function, detecting the visitor’s country of origin and directing them to the correct language. |
7) Third parties and international transfers
Some cookies belong to third parties (analytics, video, social media). These parties may process data outside the EEA. Where applicable, we apply safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) or adequacy decisions and configure tools to minimize data.
8) Notices for the U.S. (incl. California)
If you reside in the U.S., depending on your state, you may have the right to:
Opt-out of the use of data for targeted advertising and, in California, the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where applicable, we enable a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link or an equivalent mechanism.
GPC (Global Privacy Control): if your browser sends a recognized opt-out signal (such as GPC), we may respect it where required by law (e.g., California/Colorado).
9) Changes to the policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in cookies or regulations. The “Last updated” date indicates the most recent revision.
